wood shavings.

offering a longer life and more resistantance to de-composition
than fir or cedar-based wood products.
Baled Shavings
Baled Shavings are manufactured at the source,
providing in a more consistent product. Only kiln-dried pine is
used, never green wood. Shavings come only from operations that
produce more actual flakes in the bag, not fines. Also, a three
level vibrating screen is used to eliminate any dust. The bags
are heat-sealed resulting in a water-tight bag and offers 1-year
ultraviolet light protection. Shavings have an average moisture
content of 8 to 10%. Bags are 3.12 cu. ft. compressed (11" x 17.5"
x 28") and fluff to 9 cu. ft. They are palletized (45 bales per
pallet; 22 pallets a truckload) and are available year-round.
